I have been going to this specific gym location for a couple of months now and only have positive things to say. The staff is really friendly, I have always been greeted as soon as a get there and there is always staff walking the floor. The gym has a great variety of machines and the spacing is just right. My kiddo’s have enjoyed going to the care center and it gives me a peace of mind when I am able to take a glance to check on them through the clear windows. Great place!
Good gym for lifting, but the treadmills are trouble. I had one start reducing speed in its own while at 1.3 miles into my 5k benchmark run. Today, I was running at a slow 11:20 pace when the treadmill abruptly stopped and said it was resetting. This would have been dangerous if I were running a fast pace. I’m sure that they’re fine to walk on, but if you’re a (relatively slow) runner like me, they seem to have problems. Overall very clean with friendly staff and good weight equipment.
I've been coming here since 2022 and this is my favorite YMCA in Colorado Springs! 🩷✨ I'm very reliant on gym daycare in order to be able to workout and this location have the best in the area. As far as child care facilities, I think there are other branches that have better stuff for to do for kids, but those one is the best for the reason that this seems to be the cleanest and have the least likely odds of your kid catching anything in the daycare and getting sick 🤔🦠 —not to mention the child care workers here are ver... read more
LOVE this gym. Great workout machines, staff is super friendly. Vibes are immaculate. As a mom of two the gym provides daycare as well. Kids play room is always clean, I have absolute trust in the staff to watch my kids so I can enjoy my workout.
A quick shout-out to the staff and crew of the Y at 1st and Main on the eastside of Colorado Springs ! The front desk personnel Carissa and Ahmed, they were very professional and courteous in answering all my questions about their facility and hours of operation. I found the locker rooms and bathrooms very clean and neat, making this a great place for family and friends!
