Our family loves the pool at this Y location! The lifeguards are so friendly and very attentive and kind to the kids, which is wonderful. The pool has great play structures and what is basically a 0 entry for little ones. Our kids are 4 and 6, so these features, plus the numerous family changing rooms available (two of them have showers) makes this a great facility for small children and families who want a great pool to use. We just had our first swim lessons today after using Safe Splash for 2 years. It seemed like the ra... read more
The Tri-Lakes YMCA is awesome overall, but it’s got a couple of things that bug me. The pool’s pretty small—just three lanes—and I like swimming laps, so it’s kind of tough when they’re all taken. The rec area isn’t huge either, so not a ton of room to play. But the lifeguards are the best! Super nice and always helpful. The gym’s big and perfect for pickleball—everyone’s really chill and fun to play with. The workout spot’s nice too, with solid equipment and plenty of space to share. They’ve also got a big field outside, wh... read more
First time I've ever tried a YMCA, and I won't be back. We were limited due to options in the area. The facilities were alright. It's just VERY expensive. I would recommend different options such as basic access, then access with classes, then access with childcare. Not everyone needs all of these features, some just need to access the equipment. It feels like a daycare most of the time, with young children occupying treadmills, machines, etc which felt unnecessary and unsafe. Most of the time just on their phones or goofing... read more
Great classes & instructors! Needs a running track & hot tub, my two main reasons for seeking out a gym. No massage chairs. Nice view of the front range. The parking lot is packed! Kids from the High school flood the place @ 3:30pm. Close to where I live, but not my cuppa tea.
An indoor pool with child structures that doesn't have a waitlist! We went from 4-6 PM, and we didn't even have to ask about a pool capacity. They had 5 lifeguards working and there was plenty of space for my toddler to enjoy himself. Such a change of pace compared to the Cottonwood Creek YMCA - where you have to wait in lines outside an hour before the pool opens for a CHANCE to swim. Definitely will become regulars here.
