I went there to check it out. Nice facility. They sell handcrafted cards at the front desk. They have coffee available with a small 50 cents donation. They also have an important community table of "give and take items," which helps us during these trying economic times.The table is in the entrance area.

Just home from an amazing day, my first time at the Colorado Sprins Senior Center. It was the first time the Center presented Engage; a day of speakers, information booths, speed classes of varing interests (such as Mediterranean and Mind cooking demos and delicious samples, AI and Disinformation), and a lunch that was healthy and so enjoyable. This is a great place to meet active older adults.The art classes are excellent, and pickleball is fun. It is encouraging to walk down the hallway on any given day and see so many people actively involved in different things: property taxes seminar or avoiding scams, gem FaceTime, weaving or quilting, a live model sitting for seniors to paint or sketch a portrait, ukulele or guitar class, painting, drawing or pastel classes. Went in to ask about activities and offerings. Was not meet with any level of welcoming. Was brushed off by the man at the counter. Had to ask what each program was without being told any programs. Awkward. Told him I didn't feel welcome he was patronizing further. Kept looking at my tattoos. Didn't realize that I could be judged so harshly from a free program with paid events. Finally mentioned there's a library. I walked out with a "pamplet" and not much more. Asked about where seniors are offered help with career services... read more

What a great day, checking out the C.S.Senior Center. Amazing number and diversity of classes, and the lunch was so good...This place is a jewel in C.S. not to be missed if you are old enough to qualify.
